Gansu Province

These are pics from our 3-day adventure with our friend Brad who lives in China and speaks fluent Mandarin. Brad fearlessly lead us off the beaten track from Lanzhou up the Yellow River to Bingling's 1000 Buddha Caves to Linxia, a small Muslim town of ethnic Hui and Dongxiang. From there we went to Xiahe at an elevation of 3000 meters to see the Tibetan Lambrang Monastery.
