Course Description
This
course is designed to provide freshman and Sophomore English Majors with the
academic writing skills that will help understand how to express ideas in a
variety of writing styles. The
course will address organization, writing style, and cross-cultural issues. Each student will be responsible for
writing several assignments including a short essay. Students will write several drafts for each assignment and keep all
drafts in a writing portfolio.
Only the final drafts will be graded.

to attend class, please contact the instructor. Finally, it is important that you arrive at class on time so
